ANDERSON, Walter Edward November 7, 1930 - February 6, 2009 It is with heavy hearts that we announce Walt's passing on Friday, February 6, 2009 at the age of 78 years. A lifelong and proud Calgarian, Walt enjoyed a successful career in the oil and gas industry and was an active member of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC). Walt was a kind and gentle spirit, an avid golfer, gardener, and sports fan. Dad will be best remembered for the long and deep friendships he maintained and inspired - he touched the lives of many. Walt will be forever remembered by his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Wilma; daughters Wendy Arnold (Ted), Gayle Cooper (Pat); son Dr. Kent Anderson (Susan); grandchildren Kerri (Calvin), Michael, Deanna, Karen, Lisa (Josh), Nicole (Sol), and Lindsey; as well as by great-grandchildren, Isabella, Cody, Cooper, and Talia.
