Mary M. ARMSTRONG

BURROUGHS, Mary M. (nee Armstrong) 1920-2009 Surrounded by loving family and in the compassionate care of the exceptional staff at Hillel Lodge, Mary passed away peacefully on January 31, 2009 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Beloved wife of the late George W. Burroughs. Much loved mother of Paul, Susan (Fraser Likely) and Brenda (Larry Murphy). Dear grandmother of Christina, Kate and Sam, great-grandmother of Emma and Anthony. Dearly remembered by her brother Malcolm Armstrong of Toronto. Will be greatly missed by devoted friend and caregiver Judy Lamarche. Remembered fondly by nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa, on Sunday, February 15th after 1:30 pm until time of service in the Chapel at 3 pm.
