POWER, Robert Stephen Peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the age of 62. Son of the late Edward Francis Power and Edith Madeline (Donahoe) of Halifax and Ottawa. Beloved brother of Jim (Anne), Clare (Jim Dashney), Doug (Sheila), Denis (Louise), Frank (Pat), Roger, John (Fran) and Ray (Cathy). Predeceased by his brother Thomas. Dear friend of Diane Ellis. Loving uncle to 26 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road, on Friday, February 13, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Stephen was respected and loved by those whose lives he touched and his spirit will live on through his family and many friends. Sincere thanks to the doctors and staff of the Ottawa Hospital, Civic and General Campuses, for their professional and compassionate care and support of both Stephen and our family.
