Robert JIGURSKY

JIGURSKY, Robert Passed away after a short illness in his eighty-fifth year, on February 10, 2009. An RCAF veteran and a P.O.W. of WW II. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years Frances (Magas) and cherished daughter Lorraine (Gary Giannetti). Bob will also be sadly missed by his nephew Bill Veteranyi (Alice) and nieces Mary Kajdi (Joe), Catherine Blazkow (Peter) and Nancy Veteranyi as well as friends and relatives. Visitation will take place at on February 13, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. (ceremony by the Royal Canadian Legion), Saturday 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A ceremony will be held at the chapel of the funeral home followed by burial at the Field of Honor cemetery.
