Nadejda AIVAZOV

SARIKISSOVA, Nadejda (Nadia) 1966 - 2009 It is with earthly sadness that we announce the passing of Nadejda (Nadia) on February 10, 2009 in Calgary, Alberta. Nadejda was a loving mother to Anna, wife to Norman Burke, daughter to Margarita Nikolayevna and Valentin Nikolaivich Aivazov, sister to Nina and Nikolai and friend to many. However, it is with unbounded joy that we celebrated Nadejda's passage to what she referred to as "Pure Land". Family and friends would like to take this time to extend their sincere thanks to the staff, volunteers and residents at the Southwood Care Centre Hospice in Calgary for their unwavering love and acceptance of our loving and graceful Nadejda. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Nadejda's name can be made to the Southwood Care Centre Hospice, 211 Heritage Drive S.E. Calgary, Alberta T2H 1M9 and/or The Mary Tidlund Foundation (Telephone 403-609-5563, www.tidlundfoundation.com ). An informal celebration of Nadejda's life will be held on Monday February 16, 2009 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at The Yoga Haven Inc., Second Level Royal Bank, Suite 206, 9919 Fairmount Drive S.E., Calgary.
