MORTON, Mary Ellen - passed away peacefully at the Westgate Lodge, Belleville on Monday, February 2nd 2009. Mary (nee: Huff) of Belleville in her 93rd year. Loved daughter of the late William and Lillian (Noakes) Huff. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Atwood Morton and the late Alton Vincent. Loving mother of Freda Crake (Gordon) of Belleville, Ada Schrieder (Robert) of Foxboro, Reta Whelan (Don) of Barrie, Ellen Cote and Lillian Skerratt (John) both of Sarnia. Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ilean Conners of Oshawa and Nina Walsh of Napanee. Predeceased by her 4 sisters, 5 brothers, 1 grandchild and 1 great- grandchild. Arrangements entrusted to the JOHN R BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588). The family will receive visitors at the John R Bush Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7th, 2009 from 10 - 11 A.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Mary Morton will be conducted in the chapel immediately following the visitation at 11:00 A.M.
