CHRETIEN, Yvette (nee Andre) - 1916- 2009 - The family announces with sorrow her death at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday February 16, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Loving wife of the late Henri Georges Chretien (1985) and late Andre Theriault (2007). Dear mother of Stella Watt (Robert) of Akron, Ohio, Carmen Marchiori of Schumacher, Ronald Chretien (Shirley) of Lloydminster, AB and Suzette Chretien of Schumacher. Sadly missed by grandchildren Sharon, Terry, Robbie, Michelle, Sherry, Bobby, Marty, Mark, Jeffrey, Michael, Tammy, Sandy, Merv, John, Lee-Andrea, late Johanne, Genevieve, Justin, Joelle, great-grandchildren David, Ashley, Adam, Jill, Sarah, Alex, Alexa, Thomas Jr., Aaron, Mercedes, Montana, Robbie and Holly. Dear sister of Adrien Andre of Lancaster, ON, and Simone Desbellesfeuilles (Leo) of Detroit. Survived by daughters-in-law Beverly Chretien of North Bay, Barbara Chretien of Porquis Junction and son-in-law Dennis Dufour of Ottawa. Predeceased by sons, Gerald, Roger, Marcel, brothers, Alcide, Lucien, Emile, Raymond, sisters Cecile, Claire, Aline, Georgette, son-in-law Nino Marchiori and daughter-in-law Gail Chretien. Member of LaRonde, Fitness Club, Chorale LaRonde, Chorale Chantons Tous, and an active member of Hollinger Golf Club until she was 88 years old. Yvette was an inspiration to her family in the way she lived her life to the fullest with great joy, as she demonstrated in her many social and physical activities well into her late 80's. Remembrance donations made to the Father Les Costello Foundation or the St. Martin de Porres Foundation would be appreciated. The funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. from St. Joseph Church on Thursday February 19, 2009. Interment Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON- WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
