George MISLAN

MISLAN, George - Passed away on Friday February 20, 2009 at the Welland Extended Care Unit at the age of 85 years. He worked at Atlas Steel for over 25 years and had farmed for over 50 years on Effingham Road in Ridgeville. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Susie Mislan. Loving father of Jean Haapamaki-Repchull (Nick) and Susie Sykes. Dear grandfather of Roxanne Hart (Jordan) and Neil Haapamaki (Sara DeRuiter). He is also survived by his sister Mary Ivankovich, niece Annie Miklosek (Stunda) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandsons Douglas Boyes and Rodney Boyes. The Mislan family will receive their friends at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence 19 Young Street, Welland on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday February 23, 2009 at 11:00 o'clock at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church. Rite of Committal to follow in Hillside Cemetery.
