LETHBY, Ernest Charles, Peacefully, at the Shaver Hospital on Thursday, May 13, 2004 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Lillian (1992). Loving father of Marilyn (Tony 2003) Smalko. Dear grandfather of Donna (Erik) Petersen, Ken Smalko, an d David Smalko. Great-grandfather of Kirsten and Rhys Petersen. Survived by one brother Harry and three sisters, Doris, Muriel and Verla. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers, Jack and Robert, and three sisters, Alice , Dora and May. Brother-in-law of Shirley (Lloyd) Yates, the late Russell Hunt (1997). Special thanks to the staff at St. Catharines General and Shaver Hospitals. The family will receive friends at the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormo nd Street South, Thorold on Friday, May 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold.
