Ms. Catherine Gormek August 31, 1956 - February 27, 2009 Catherine Elizabeth Mary Gormek It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Cathie Gormek on Friday, February 27, 2009. She died peacefully in her sleep at home at the age of 52. Her loves in life were her children to which she dedicated her life, and she will be sorely missed by her friends and family. Beloved mother of Jennifer, Stephanie, Michelle and Katherine, (predeceased by her infant son John in 1991). She was a devoted daughter who was predeceased by her father Francis Morrison in 1980, and survived by her mother Dorothy Morrison. Loved sister of Brenda (Ed), Bernice, Sharon (George), Cameron (Pauline), and Wendy (Catherine). The visitation and service will be held at MCDOUGALL AND BROWN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 2900 Kingston Road, Toronto, ON, M1M 1N5, 416-267-4656. VISITATION: Thursday, March 5th 6-8 p.m. SERVICE: Friday, March 6th at 1 p.m. A reception celebrating Cathie’s life will follow.
