MONCHALIN, Laurie “Larry“ - Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on February 21, 2009 at St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Bernadette (nee Berard). Loving father of Norman (Janet), Rachelle (David) Harvey, Dennie (Leanne), Lori (Robert) Topic. Cherished Grandpa of 13 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild and adored son of Augustine and the late Augustin Monchalin. Larry will be fondly missed by his siblings Juliette Grove, Roger, Gerald, and Robert Monchalin. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Tuesday February 24, 2009 from 2-4 and 5-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Denis Church on Wednesday February 25, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
