DAVIDSON, James Alfred “Jim” - Peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 45 years of Jessie. Loving father of James (Robbie) and Kevin (Cheryl). Cherished son of Hilda Young and the late James Davidson. Dear grandpa of Stephen (Brittany). Great grandfather of Breanna. Brother of Bob (Connie), Shirley Fitzsimmons, Larry, Donny and the late Ronnie. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. He was employed for 30 years with General Motors in Plant 2 prior to his retirement. He was known for his vast love of the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and spending time at the trailer. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684- 6346). A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to The Trigeminal Neuralgia Association of Canada or Lupus Canada would be appreciated by the family. Memorial tributes may be made at www.mem.com.
