CROSBY, Delbert L. - At Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Sunday February 22, 2009, Delbert L. Crosby, age 69 of Chatham, beloved husband of Gladys (Smith) VanDusen. Born in Dresden in 1939 son of the late Eva and Edward Crosby, Delbert was a Concrete Finisher before his retirement. Dear father of Marvel (Rick), Jackie, Carlesta (Garth), Patti, Vanessa, Raymond (Tracy), Nathan (Linda), Heather, Dorothy (Greg), Artis (Mark), Mickey (Joanne) and Marcus. Sadly missed by several grandchildren. Brother of Lorden and Leroy. Also survived by many nieces nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by 2 daughters; Geraldine and Tracey and a son-in-law Claude. Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday February 24, 2009 and again on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Chapel Service will be conducted in HINNEGAN-PESESKI FUNERAL HOME, on Thursday February 26, 2009 at 11:00 am with Rev. Leona Wright officiating. Burial will take place in Maple Leaf Cemetery. Donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
