David Louis HARRIS

HARRIS, David Louis - Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the age of 77. Dearly loved father of Michelle Harris (Ken Allen) of St. Catharines. Predeceased by his best friend Nan (1991). Dear brother of Rita Cooke (the late Roy) and Collette Murdoch (Harry). He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Harris returned back to St. Catharines in 2001 after living in Victoria, B.C. for a number of years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 479 and served in the Korean War and was also a peacekeeper in Egypt. He was also an avid golfer and a member of the Niagara Parks Senior Golf League. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls visiting Friday 7-9 p.m. Interment will take place on Saturday at the Lane Family Cemetery in St. Ann's, Ontario, leaving from the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Mr. Harris donations to Heart Niagara would be appreciated by his family.
