Mr. Joseph Varnell July 7, 1941 - February 11, 2009 VARNELL, Joseph Robert After a courageous battle with cancer in his 68th year, Joe passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on February 11, 2009. He is loved and missed by his wife Margaret, his children Nancy-Ann (Tom, Meghann, and Robert, his grandchildren Chanelle and Chloe, his brother Jim and sister Pat, his nephews and niece JD, Joe (Kevin), Chris and Susie. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and extended family. Friends may call at the Highland Funeral Home (3280 Sheppard Avenue East, 416-773-0933) on Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with the service being held on Monday, February 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. in our chapel.
