Mr Stanley Edward Wiley July 5, 1928 - February 24, 2009 It is with sorrow that the family of Stanley Edward Wiley announce his passing on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his mother Lottie and father John; five brothers Lloyd (Merle), Howard (Eva), Ira (Shirley), Irvin and Ray (Irene); two sisters Marjorie (Doug) Goulstone and Shirley Huber. Stan is survived by sister Eileen Gray; brother Roy (Hertha); sister-in-law Winn; brother-in-law Bill Huber; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and wonderful friends. Stan was born July 5, 1928 on the farm in Langbank, SK and was one of ten siblings. He moved to Regina to begin working at Sears, where he spent 35 years and made many friends. Stan will be remembered as a kind, gentle person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed family gatherings over the years, the last of which being his 80th birthday celebration in July. Stan will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Stan’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
