William Ross TELFER

OBITUARY WILLIAM ROSS TELFER William passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2009 at the CSSS des Sommets, Ste.Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec at the age of eighty-two. He will be remembered with love and great admiration by his beloved wife Heather, daughter Tracy and her husband Jim Burk, brother and sister-in-law Bob and Nicole, sister Nancy Fraser, grandsons Andrew and Daniel, niece Wendy, nephew Jim and the Lawrence in-laws. Predeceased by his son John Henry in 1998. William was born in Montreal December 13,1926, the eldest son of Gladys Mowatt and Harry Telfer. William took over the family business, Mowatt and Moore with his brother Bob in 1956 and spent over sixty years in the pharmaceutical business. He was a long standing member of The Royal Montreal Golf Club. A service of remembrance will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the United Church, Morin Heights, Quebec. A reception will follow at the Legion. A special thanks to Dr. N. Giannati, Dr. J. Kimoff, the nursing staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Dr. D. Lessard of St. Sauveur and the wonderful support of the CLSC in Morin Heights. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
