MARTENS, Alma Maureen - It is with great sadness that the family of Alma Maureen “Mickey“ Martens announces her death. Mick passed away suddenly Wed. Feb. 25 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Garry, devoted and loving mother to Angela (Mark) and Jill (Brian), and loving and proud Grandmother to Julian and Sasha. She is sorely missed. Mick led a full life, and was a friend to many. Her tireless spirit and unconditional support has been the cornerstone of her family and personal community. Family and friends were the most important to her, and she let us know daily by her actions and love. We will always miss her and will always cherish our precious memories. The service will be held at St. Margarets United Church, 690 Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd. Kingston, Sunday March 1 2009. Visitation will be from 1 pm - 2 pm. The service is at 2 pm, followed by a reception. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Maureen's memory would be appreciated. 11427601
