WEISS, Mrs. Floris Irene (Van Raes) (nee Ferguson) - Peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto. Dearly beloved wife of Bertram Weiss and the late Emile Van Raes. Loving mother of Marilyn Van Dam (Jake) and David Van Raes (Ginette). Cherished grandmother of Tamara Thirnbeck (Kevin), Stacey Van Dam and Emile Lebrun-Van Raes. Great-grandmother of Ross and Brent Thirnbeck. Dear sister of Jean Beebe (Gerry) and Gladys Delong (William). Fondly remembered by Linda Greer (Joe), Diana Lewis (Steve), Della, Eric Weiss (Kathy) and their families. Aunt Floris will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and her many friends. There will be a Celebration of Life held at St. James United Church, 221 Romaine St, on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 2 pm with a Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Floris, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. James United Church.
