McLELLAN, Verna Genevieve (Pollard) - Went to be with her Lord, peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday February 27, 2009 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Hugh. Dear mother of Paul, Doug, Jay and Sara, Nancy and Terry Saville, predeceased by her son Tom. Loving grandmother of John, Anne Marie and Dave Taylor, Aaron, Scott and fiancé Erin Ireland, Fred, Alex, Calvin, Emma and William. Great grandmother of Nicholas and Julia. Sister of June Pollard, Donna and Gene McLeod, Lynn and Jacquie Pollard. Verna was a faithful servant of her Lord, a devoted member of her community and a registered nurse and caregiver. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West Street, on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Yes Church 305 West Street, Brantford on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at 1 p.m. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Onondaga.
