Marie LAWSON

MARSH, Marie - Unexpectedly at the Kingston General Hospital, on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, in her 83rd year. Marie (nee Lawson), beloved wife of Reginald Marsh, for 63 years. Dear mother of Donna Jackson and the late Tom Marsh (wife Bernice Lucas), both of Kingston. Affectionately known as “Gram“ to her grandsons, Chris Jackson (Whitney) of Harrowsmith, Andrew Jackson (Kristy) of Kingston, and “Big Grandma and Nana“ to her great grandchildren, Hope, Julianna and Wesley. Survived by brothers, Ivan Lawson (Jean) and Don Lawson (Donna), both of Kingston. Predeceased by her sisters, Lola and Marion and brothers Ralph, Howard, Ross and Dalton. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews, as well as her church family at St. Paul's Anglican Church, and her many friends, including those at the Kingston Lawn Bowling Club. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, March 14, at 11:00 am., with Rev. Dr. David Ward officiating. Cremation followed by inurnment at Cataraqui Cemetery at a later date.
