William John PARDY

PARDY, William John, P. Eng., - At St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital in Kingston, Ontario, on Friday, March 13, 2009. William John Pardy, in his 88th year, leaves behind his loving wife Ruth (Sterling) for 64 years, sons, David (Ronanne) of Kingston, John (Rosalie) of Ottawa, and Stephen (Kim) of Calgary. Loving grandfather of Amanda (Jason Lachance) of Providence, Rhode Island, Sarah (Paul Hungler) of Napanee and great-grandfather of Will Lachance. Bill was born in London, Ontario, son of the late Dr. William V. V. Pardy and Annie Mae Johnson and is survived by his sister, Frances (Philip Garlough) of Guelph. Predeceased by his brother Ronald. Bill was a graduate of Queen's University at Kingston, in Electrical Engineering and retired as Senior Vice-President of Northern Telecom Canada. The family extends sincere appreciation to Dr. Ivan George Stewart and nurses, Marg and Mary-Anne, for their loving care and support. In keeping with Bill's wishes, cremation will be followed by a private family service. Inurnment at Clipperton Pioneer Cemetery (near London), at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Queen's Palliative Care Support or London Health Science Centre ( Liver Transplant Unit). 11442932
