SONNENBURG, Carl (Boots) - of Massey passed away at the Espanola Nursing Home on Tuesday, February 24th, 2009 in his 83rd year. Beloved son of the late Robert & Helena (nee Steinke) Sonnenburg. Former husband of Rita Eaket. Loving father of Pat (wife Brenda), Brian (wife Suzanne), Susan Rheault ( friend Ray), Gary (wife Elizabeth) & Steve (wife Jocelyne) all of Massey. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Barb, Patrick, Jeff, Janet, Stephanie, Joanne, Keri, Desi, Robert, Holly, Chad, Matthew & Johnny & 18 great-grandchildren. Very dear brother of Laura (Mrs. Ken Muldoon) of Walford, Edmund Sonnenburg (wife Patricia) of London & the late Margaret Melcher, Esther Kutschke, Kathleen Hobbs, Danny, Herbie, Willard & Jack Sonnenburg. Special friend of Eleanor Vance. Carl was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 432, Massey and a Life Member of the Espanola Elks. Friends may call at the Massey Visitation Centre, Massey on Thursday, February 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service from the Zion Lutheran Church, Massey on Friday, February 27th at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Paul Roellenchen- Pfohl officiating.
