Doris Leone BUTTERY

CRAIG, Doris Leone (nee Buttery) - Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday, March 13, 2009 with her family by her side in her 77th year. Doris, beloved mother of 7 children; Roberta Quinn (David), Susan, Cynthia Murdoch (Alan), Jennifer, Brad (Jeanette), Lisa and Paul. Loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Dear sister of Marion and Ken (Jean) Buttery, beloved sister-in-law of the Craig family. After raising her children she worked at Bowmanville Memorial Hospital with the elderly on the Continuing Care Floor as a RNA. An outdoors person by nature, she loved skiing, swimming and walking. She was a social and spiritual member of the Salem Community and St. Paul's United Church. This very kind and compassionate woman will be greatly missed by all. Special thanks to surgeon Dr. Hamour, Dr. T. Stone, her ministers and the great care received by the nursing staff at Bowmanville hospital. PAUL'S UNITED CHURCH, 178 Church Street, Bowmanville on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 1 p.m. Cremation.
