Maurice Hamilton RANKIN

RANKIN, Maurice Hamilton – Mr. Maurice Rankin peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site on Sunday March 8, 2009 at the age of 75 years; Retired employee of the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority. Beloved father of the late Kimberley Rankin; Heidi Ariano (Gino), Toronto; and Lori Yates (Ian) of Cornwall. Sadly missed by his four grandchildren Sarah, Paige, Abigail, and Ethan. Loved son of the late William and Orpha (nee Hart) Rankin. Dear brother of Camilla Roberts (late Robert), Cobourg; and Bill Rankin (Ruth), Long Sault. Predeceased by his sisters Audrey Darling (late Walter), Marjorie Bourgon (late Charles), Rhoda Markell (late George), and Verna Franklin (late Harold). There will be no visitation. A funeral service in celebration of his life will be held in Trinity Anglican Church on Thursday March 12, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Following the service friends will be received by the family in the church hall. Committal will take place at a later date in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault.
