SMIDER, Sidney - Peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home in Palmerston on Tuesday March 10, 2009. Sid Smider of Erin, formerly of Owen Sound, and Toronto, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Helen O'Sullivan (1994). Loving father of Wendy Thede, and her husband Barry of Erin, and Janice Keith and her husband Stuart of Palmerston. Cherished papa of Amanda, Natasha, Christopher, Rebecca, Jenna, Danny, Holly, and James, and great grandson Gage. Dear brother of Victor Smider, and Steve Smider, Irene Halas, and Jelene Myers. Predeceased by brothers Charlie, John, Mike, George, Ferdinand, and sister Ethel. Resting at the BUTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5399 Main St. S., Erin, where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 13th at 2:00 p.m. Spring Interment, Erin Union Cemetery.
