Johanna BAUMGART

BAUMGART, Johanna With great sadness we announce the passing of Johanna Baumgart at home in the arms of her loving son Walter, on February 19, 2009, at the age of 90 years. Johanna was born in Russia in 1918, as one of ten children. She had survived the war and immigrated to Canada where she married Adolf. Johanna has left us now to be reunited with her beloved husband as well as family friends; pioneer George Pocaterra and writer R.M. Patterson. Survived by her son Walter, granddaughter Jennifer and loving family. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1162 Hudson Road at 1:00 p.m. with Interment to follow at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.
