BURKE, Ethna Agnes Peacefully in Garden Terrace Residence, Kanata on Tuesday, March 3, 2009. Ethna Burke of Ottawa & Almonte, age 85 years. Daughter of the late John Francis Burke and his wife the late Margaret Teresa Lalonde. Dearly loved sister of Kathleen. Predeceased by her sister Mary Anastasia. Ethna enjoyed a forty year career with the Public Service Commission. She will be missed by many former colleagues, bridge friends, the Isnor family and other relatives. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Ethna's life in Holy Name of Mary Church, Bridge Street, Almonte for Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 5 at 11 am. Spring interment Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Almonte. All are invited to a reception following Mass. A special thank you to Meredith & the staff of Garden Terrace for their exceptional care.
