OBITUARY RUDOLF TAPEREK 1913 - 2009 Rudolf Taperek peacefully passed away at his home on March 4, 2009 at the age of ninety-five years. He was a decorated soldier who fought in World War II. Beloved husband of fifty-eight years to Emilia Konysz. Leaving behind his six chidren: Teresa, Halina (Demetre), Jadwiga (Henryk), Richard (Theresa), Frank (Francine) and Donna; four grandchildren: Sophia (Dimitrios), Stelios (Angie), Christopher and Adam as well as two great grandchildren Ellena and Dimitri. He will also be missed by his family in Poland. Viewing will be held between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Friday, March 6 at followed by a funeral service at St. Mary's Polish Church at 2550 Gascon Street and then unto Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Juvenile Diabetic Society or Multiple Sclerosis Society would be greatly appreciated. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 3/6/2009
