KAMASINSKY, Christina Elizabeth It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Christina (Bobo) Elizabeth Kamasinsky of Calgary, Alberta on Tuesday March 3, 2009 at the age of 33 years. Christina was born in Calgary at the Grace Hospital to Hungarian parents and was a first generation Canadian but was truly a child of Hungary, having spent many summers in her parent's native land. She is survived by her mother Elizabeth, father George, sister Vanessa, stepfather John, special uncles Joe and Ocsi, cousin Kinga, great-aunt and uncle, Kato and Tomi, the Gyuris and Gulacsi families of Budapest, Hungary and many other relatives in Sarospatak, Hungary. She leaves behind many friends in Calgary and her beloved pets, Izzy, the little dog and her two cats Boogie and Roxy. Christina was predeceased by her maternal grandmothers, Gulyas (Nagyi) Erzsebet and Kamasinsky Erzsebet and her great-grandmother Gulyas (Dedi) Sandorne. Christina was schooled in Calgary and graduated with a diploma in Child and Youth Care from Mount Royal College and a Certificate in Medical Administration from CDI College. She enjoyed giving back to her community by working in a youth group home and later working with adults with special needs. She had a great smile that could light up a room and we will miss her great sense of humour. Christina loved animals and many a stray cat found their way to her home. Her interests were varied but she was an avid movie buff, enjoyed traveling and later in life she investigated many different religions and cultures, especially those originating in the eastern part of the world. Although her life on this earth was all too brief, she touched lives everywhere she went. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Christina's memory directly to the Calgary Humane Society (S.P.C.A.), 4455 - 110 Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB T2C 2T7. FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORIUM. Telephone: 403-297-0888 Honoured Provider of Dignity Memorial. Published in the Calgary Herald from 3/12/2009- 3/14/2009
