Cynthia BROWN

COWAN, Cynthia (nee Brown) Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden St. Site on February 20, 2009 at the age of seventy-seven years. Beloved wife of the late Donald Grosvenor Cowan and sister of the late Richard A. Brown. Cynthia is survived by her sister-in-law Alice Watson; her children Nigel H. Cowan (Sue Palmer) of Montreal, Robert (Bob) D. Cowan of Brockville, Catherine A. Cowan of Ottawa and Laura P.A. Cowan of Montreal. Fondly remembered by her ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Cynthia's life in the Irvine Funeral Home Reception Centre, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. The family will be greeting guests beginning at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, or as an extension of the love felt for her, donations can be made, named in her honour, to the Brockville and District Hospital Palliative Care.
