CONWAY, Marie House (nee Humber) - Peacefully, on Saturday, March 14th, 2009 at Vera Care in St. Catharines at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Maurice (2004) for 47 years. Loving mother of Brenda Mahoney and Katherine Vitone. Beloved grandmother of Meghan, Sean, Dana and Kevin. Dear mother-in-law of Don Mahoney and Darryl Vitone. Sister of Wilson (June) Humber, Tom (Amy) Humber and Sandra Tufford. Also survived by Walt Eggleton, Mary Humber and many nieces, nephews and in- laws. Sister-in-law of Carl and Elizabeth Conway of Long Sault. Predeceased by her parents Alexander & Selena Humber, Russell & Pearl Conway, Bill & Betty Humber, Levi Humber, Nina & Victor Holder, Jean Eggleton and Sylvia Thompson. Marie was a longtime member of St. John's Anglican Church in Thorold. Special thanks to the caring staff at Versa Care. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond St. S., Thorold on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service to celebrate Marie's life will be held at St. John's Anglican Church (12 Carleton St. S., Thorold) on Wednesday, March 18th at 11:00 am.
