PRESTON, Gerald Robert “Bob“ - Surrounded by the love of his family, Bob passed away peacefully on Sunday March 22, 2009 in his 68th year. Loving husband of Linda Preston. Cherished father of Elisha, Madeline, Brayden, Beverley Williams and her husband Graham and Robert. Grandfather of Rebecca, Thomas, and Emily. Beloved brother of Ron, William and his wife Maureen, David, Linda and her husband Ed, and Barbara. Beloved brother- in-law of April, Claudia, Christine Callan and her husband Paul and Michael Starr and his wife Robyn. Predeceased by his brothers Don, Gary and Jed. Cherished son-in-law and dear friend of Roger and LaRae Starr and Joyce McLegan. Bob and Linda proudly owned and operated Global Express in St. George. In his leisure time Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, snowmobiling, motorcycling and relaxing at the cottage. Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL FUNERAL HOME, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Wednesday from 2-4 to 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Meadwood Pentecostal Church, Highway 24 N. (Directly across from Witteveen Meats), Brantford on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Paris Cemetery.
