SMITH, Shirley (nee Browning) - March 5, 2009 Peacefully passed away on March 5, 2009 at University Hospital, London at the age of 72. Predeceased by four sisters, Ruby Burnette, Dorothy Mitchell, Mary Ann Walls, and Jean Scott. Her five brothers, Orvel, James, John, Paul and Raymond. Loving mother of Rick (Doreen) and Linda. Dear grandmother of six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Survived by her five sisters, Violet Lawson of Elmira, Ontario, Beatrice Browining of Gibson Woods Nova Scotia, Norma Duiguid (George) of Detroit, Irene Johnson of Los Angeles, and her sister in law Sylvia Browning and her brother Earl, Richmond, Ontario, and her brother in law Herb Burnette. Will also be remembered by a host of neices, nephews and friends. A special thank you to the staff at University Hospital for their care and compassion. Memorial Serivce to be held at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home, 68 Giles Blvd E, (519-254-8633) on Monday, March 9, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. Interment of cremated remains to follow at Windsor Grove Cemetery.
