BERARD, Fernande (Roy) nee Savage 1929-2009 - The family announces with sorrow her passing on Sunday March 8, 2009 at the Timmins and District Hospital surrounded by her loving children. Fernande lived her life to the fullest always helping and supporting those in need. Beloved mother of Pierrette Draper (John), Normand Roy (Nicole), Rene Roy, Jocelyne Roy (Harry). Dear grandmother of Stephanie Ann, Joel, Leeann, Eric, Marie-Andree, Phillipe, Emelie, Stephanie, David and great grandmother to David and Genevieve. Also survived by husband William Berard, stepson William Jr. (Cindy), their four children Rachel, Geri-Lynn, Anne, William, brothers Jean-Marie (Helene) Savage and Armand (Phyllis) Savage. Predeceased by husband Lionel Roy, son Andre Roy, her brothers Robert, Ubald, Fernand (Pete), sisters Jeanne, Rita, Obeline, Armande and Anne-Marie. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday March 12, 2009 from the Miron- Wilson Funeral Chapel, Fr. Leo Rancourt officiating. A memorial mass will be held in Gogama at a later date.
