HAMADA, Adila (née Hassan Fahmy) "Nounie" - Paisiblement, dimanche le 8 mars 2009, est décédée Adila Hamada. Nounie est née au Caire, Égypte ou elle a grandi ainsi qu'à Hazelmere, Angleterre. Elle a voyagé beaucoup et est demeuré à Beyrouth, Liban, à Marbella, Espagne et à Montréal. Elle était aimé de tous ceux qui la connaissaient. Pour citer un ami, "elle a vieilli avec grâce et a eu une vie magique". Épouse de feu Mohamed Khalil Hamada (décédé en 1985). Fille de feu Mme Elizabeth Ivy Enderby et M. Hassan Fahmy. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa soeur Mme Aida (Lulu) Farid de Rome, Georgie et ses deux filles Mervette Ward de Chattsworth, Georgie et Randa Mixon (Ronnie) de Rome, Georgie, sa petite-nièce Rima Mixon de N.Y. ses petits-neveux, Ronnie Mixon (René) d'Atlanta, John Ward (Nina) de Winterpark, Floride, Eric Ward de Dalton, Georgie et David Ward de Rome, Georgie. Selon les voeux de Nounie, un service commémoratif aura lieu à la chapelle du salon funéraire Kane & Fetterly, 5301 boul. Décarie (angle Isabella), le jeudi 12 mars à 16h00. Enterrement au cimetière Jardin Commémoratif Rideau le vendredi 13 mars à 11h00. Nounie was born in Cairo, Egypt, brought up there and in Hazelmere England. She was a world traveller having lived in Beirut, Lebanon, Marbella, Spain and Montreal. She was loved by all who knew her. To quote a friend, "she aged enviably, gracefully and had a magical life". She was the wife of the late Mohamed Khalil Hamada who passed away September 1985. Daughter of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Ivy Enderby and Mr. Hassan Fahmy. She is survived by her sister Mrs. Aida (Lulu) Farid of Rome, Georgia, and her two daughters, Mervette Ward of Chattsworth, Georgia and Randa Mixon (Ronnie) of Rome, Georgia, a grandniece Rima Mixon of N.Y. and grandnephews, Ronnie Mixon (Rene) of Atlanta, John Ward (Nina) of Winterpark, Florida, Eric Ward of Dalton, Georgia, David Ward of Rome, Georgia. According to Nounie's wishes, a Memorial Service will be held at Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home Chapel, 5301 Decarie Blvd., (corner Isabella), on Thursday, March 12 at 4 p.m. The burial will take place on Friday, March 13 at 11 a.m. at the Rideau Memorial Cemetery.
