John Robert PARKINS

PARKINS, John Robert July 28, 1940 - March 15, 2009 John Robert Parkins of Calgary passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the age of 68 years. He is survived by his loving family, wife Hilda; his four children, Mark (Delores), Stephen (Marlen) and grandson Liam, Graeme (Carmen) and grandchildren Naomi and Jimmy, Julie (Andre) and grandson Evan; two stepchildren Monica (Roger) and their children, Logan and Tiana and Jason (Stacey) and their daughter Riley. John was predeceased by his first wife, Gillian in 2000. A special thank you to Dr. Edwards and Dr. Manderson and to the staff of the Foothills Hospital ICU. A Celebration of Life will be held at Northmount Baptist Church, 451 Northmount Drive S.W., Calgary on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Doug Johnston officiating.
