MANTELL, Karen Ellen - After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, passed away with family and friends at her bedside on Monday, September 20, 2004, in her 64th year. Beloved partner for 35 years to Marion Thompson and dear sister of Sue (Tom) Scholfield, Barbara (William) Hemington (Young), Deirdrie (Dee) (Wayne) Hoyle and William Mantell and she will be fondly remembered by 11 nieces and nephews and 17 great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Joan Johnston (nee Gould) and Roy Mantel and a niece Amanda. Memorial services will be conducted in the chapel of Little's Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 223 Main St., E., Cambridge on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
