CROOKS, Tyler Kevin George - While serving and honouring his country in Afghanistan, Corporal Tyler Crooks was taken from us on March 20, 2009, which was his 24th birthday. Tyler will be forever missed by his parents Alfred and Karen Crooks, his brother Tage and the love of his life, his fiancée Kelly Maxwell. He is survived by his Grandmother Margaret Wagner, many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Tyler is predeceased by his Grandfather's Kevin Wagner and Archie Crooks and his Grandmother Rose Crooks. Tyler's humour and infectious smile will be sadly missed by his close friends and family. Summer cottage trips, fishing and hunting trips with his buddies will never be the same. Tyler loved his job whole heartedly and loved serving in Afghanistan for his country with the 3rd Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment. Tyler will always be remembered as a true Canadian HERO. He will live on forever in the hearts and minds of all of his Brothers in Arms. Tyler was excited to be coming home to marry his high-school sweetheart this summer.
