EICHFUSS, Morris - After a long battle with esophageal cancer, Morris passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, March 31st, 2009 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Little) for 40 years. Loved son of Leida and the late Boris Eichfuss. Dear brother of Rolf and his wife Esta and their children Brant (Mika) and Maaja. Brother-in-law of Fay Fairbairn. Uncle of Mark (Sharon) Elliott and their children Brent (Laura) and Jennifer (Chad), Kathy (Joe) Prantera and their children Heather and Vanessa. Morris was admired by his family, friends and fellow workers for his integrity, and his willingness to go the extra mile. He was an avid conservationist, who enjoyed his birds, butterflies, photography and biking in his retirement years. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Saturday, April 4th from 1:00 to 2:00pm. A Memorial Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 4th at 2:00pm.
