GOODFRIEND, Vivian W. (nee Murphy) - Peacefully, with family by her side, passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday April 7th, 2009, at age 85. Cherished mother of Linda Goodfriend (St Jean), Kingston, Dale (Lorraine), Seeley's Bay, Marlene Goodfriend (Pete), Fort Myers Florida, Cathy Phelan (Chris), Kingston, Brian, Port Charlotte Florida and son-in-laws Claude Boissonneault and Robert Beaubiah, 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dearest sister of Teresa (Shirley) Kowalchuk. Pre-deceased by daughters Carolyn Boissonneault and Margaret Beaubiah, grandchildren Douglas Gough and Trevor McAllister and great grandchild Cora Horner parents John & Ellen (Moran) Murphy, brothers, Cecil, Richard, John, Harvey and Raymond Murphy and sister Marion Stenson. Friends will be received at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOMES - 435 Davis Drive on Monday April 13, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Cathedral 279 Johnson St., on Tuesday April 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Rite of committal with prayers to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
