HARRIS, Ellen “Gladys” - It is with heavy hearts that her family announce the passing of Gladys (Booth) at P.R.H.C. Peterborough, on Saturday, April 11, 2009 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Harris. Beloved mother of Elaine Lang, Whitby; Judy (Ray) Carman, Marmora and Susan (Tim) Butcher, Marmora. Sister of the late Clayton Booth, Roy Booth and Lucille Crawford. Nanny of Karen Kumchy, Sharelle Lalonde, Shelley Reid, Carrie McColl, Julie Cooney, Jason Carman, Kelly Butcher and Steve Butcher. Great Grandmother of Jamie, Danny, Ryan, Nichelle, Justin, Catrina, Aden, Victoria, Julianna and baby Brielle. Cherished by many nieces and nephews. Our heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care Mom received from the P.R.H.C. Palliative Care Team, Doctors Ragaz, Beamish, Van Dorsser, Shannon, Stelzer and Scott. The family will receive friends at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, Marmora, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday.
