HORTIE, Carl Patrick Suddenly in hospital on Tuesday April 7, 2009. Carl Hortie age 55. Husband and best friend of Joy Hynes. Dear brother of Robyn, Colleen Corcoran (Bill), and his twin Michael (Wendy). Brother-in-law of Judy Chretien (Dan), John Hynes (Kathy), Jerry Hynes (Cindy), Jeff Hynes (Doreen) and Jason Hynes (Isabelle). Sadly missed by his step mother Marcella Hortie and her children Sylvie and Luc. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Sunday April 12th from 12 Noon to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. In memoriam donations to the Liver Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society appreciated.
