MORRIS, Dr. Allan - Peacefully, in the presence of his family, on Tuesday, April 7th, 2009 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Dr. Allan Morris, in his 75th year, beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Forbes) for the past 51 years. Loving father of Tom of Wiarton, John and his wife Janice of Acworth, Georgia, USA and Suzanne and her husband Robert Padt of Georgetown. Cherished grandfather of Brett, Jack, Janelle, Sara and Jorja. Predeceased by his brothers Dr. William, Bert and David Morris. Dr. Allan Morris practiced as a chiropractor for 47 years in North York and Wiarton, member of the Rotary International from 1961- present, recipient of the Rotarian Paul Harris Award, founding member of the Willowdale Family Life Foundation, dedicated volunteer for the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Wiarton Coast Guard Search and Rescue. Allan had a passion for hockey, as a player, coach, board member and chairman of the OHA, board member and President of the OHF and board member and current chairman of Hockey Canada. Friends will be received at the J.S. JONES & SON FUNERAL HOME, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 11th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
