Howard Floyd TRAVIS

TRAVIS, Howard Floyd - age 93 of Chatham, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 at Riverview Gardens. He was born in Chatham Township son of the late William & Jeanette (Lucas) Travis. He is predeceased by his first wife Helen, his second wife Leta and his third wife Hilda. Surviving is his daughter Shirley Taylor of Welland and son Kenneth Travis Sr. (Wanda) of Chatham; 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; two sisters Ila Brown and Reta Travis of Chatham; two brothers Lloyd Travis (Dorothy) of Chatham and Leonard Travis (Cynthia) of Chatham. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by son Larry Travis, three brothers Therman, Kingsley and Wilfred and two sisters Flora and Marjorie. Visitors will be received at the THOMAS L. DEBURGER FUNERAL HOME, 620 Cross Street, Dresden on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Albert Lambkin officiating. Interment in Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
