Lorna K. CHESHAM

CHESHAM, Lorna K. (RN) - On Tuesday April 14th, 2009, Lorna died peacefully at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital. She was born in Campbellford, Ontario, graduate of Toronto Sick Children's Hospital, served overseas in World War II as a Major in the Canadian Army, and retired from GNGH as a nursing supervisor. She was predeceased by her first husband Dr. Wm Spafford, killed in action in Italy in World War II, her husband Frederic N. Chesham and her son Brian Chesham. Survived by her sons, David N. (Brandy) Chesham and Richard N. (Sharon) Chesham and daughter-in-law Frieda Chesham, her seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A special thank you to the nurses, staff and Dr. Marion Frendo of the Niagara-on-the Lake Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a private service will follow.
