Elizabeth ARSENAULT

CAISSIE, Elizabeth (nee Arsenault) - The death occurred very peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor on Tuesday, June 8, 2004, of Elizabeth Caissie (nee Arsenault), formerly of Egmont Bay, at the age of 101 years. She was the eldest member of her family. She is the daughter of the late Jean L. and Marie Anne Arsenault. She is survived by her loving sons and daughters, Marie Anne Arsenault (late Frankie) of St. Chrysostome; Alyre (June) of St. Stephens, N.B.; Joe (Alphonsine) of Maximeville; Evangeline (late Freddie) Gallant of Maximeville; Yvonne (Leo) Arsenault of St. Chrysostome; Ella (Phil) Arsenault of Maximeville; Antoine (Paulette) of Miscouche; Leo (Betty) of Woodstock, Ont.; Freddie (Ella) of Urbainville; Rosella of Summerside and Camille (Geraldine) of Abram Village; and a brother, Alyre J.L (Louise) Arsenault of St. Philippe and sisters-in-law Aurelie Arsenault of Summerside and Eveline Arsenault of Wellington. Also survived by 70 grandchildren; 127 great- grandchildren and 16 great- great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Theodore, she was predeceased by her parents, numerous brothers and sisters, sons Jean Pierre and daughter Alodie and son-in- law Leonce Gallant. She was a member of les Dames Du Sanctuaire of St. Jacques. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Friday then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, for funeral mass at 3 p.m. Visitation shall be received on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Wedgewood Manor or the Prince County Hospital Summerside would be greatly appreciated. Interment will be in the church cemetery. - 06/11/04
