MAYBEE, Arden (Archie) It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Archie Maybee in his 65th year on November 7, 2004, at his home in Amherstburg, Ontario. Beloved husband to Darlene. Will be greatly missed by his beloved "biter dog" Max. Loving father to Chris and Linda, Geoff and Michelle, and Archie and Michelle. Devoted Bumpa to granddaughter Abby and fun loving Pops to grandchildren Alex, Brad, and Josh. He will be missed by his loving sister Sharon and husband Robert, and his brother Warren and wife Marida, brother in law John and Carol Lynch, Bob and Barb Burke, Nancy and Ken Clutterbuck, Brad and Betty Burke, and Larry and Leslee Burke. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Archie was the Vice President of Manufacturing at Flex-n-Gate (Veltri Division) and will be missed for his dedication, passion, and keen business mind by all of his associates. Visitation will be held at Janisse Bros - Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue on Tuesday, November 9, 2004, from 2-5 p,m. and 7-9 p.m. A vigil service will be held at 8 p.m. Visitation will take place in St. Catherines, Ontario on Wednesday, November 10, 2004, at the Butler Funeral Home, on Niagara Street from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home Thursday, November 11, 2004, at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catherines. Memorial Donations in memory of Archie may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Archie Maybee in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
