REID, Harris Watson In his 95th year, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, November 12, 2004 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. A lifelong resident of Leamington and Mersea Township. Devoted husband of the late Ruth (March 2004). Beloved father of Janice Paisley (Dave) and Richard Reid (Susan). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Karen Krug (Shawn), Heather Daniels (Naren), Beth Paisley (Darren Stowe), Scott Reid (Jenna Clark), Lindsay Glass (Stephen) and great grandchildren Paisley Krug and Cameron Harris Krug. Dear brother of David Reid (Marg) and brother-in-law of Agnes Reid. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by sister, Louise and brother, Robert. Harris was a well respected businessman and an active member of the community. He was a Life Elder of Leamington United Church, Life Member of Leamington Lion's Club, a Founding and Life Member of Erie Shores Golf and Country Club and a recognized member of the Leamington/Mersea Historical Society. Harris also served on numerous boards and committees throughout his life. Vistitation at the Reid Funeral Home 14 Russell Street, Leamington (326-2631) on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Harris Reid will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 1 p.m. Rev. Del Stewart officiating. Interment Erie Memorial Gardens, Leamington.
