SWANSON Patricia Joan 1930 - 2006 It is with great sadness the we announce the passing of Patricia Joan Swanson of Edmonton on March 15, 2006. Joan died peacefully at home with her family by her side. It was with remarkable grace and dignity that she lost her battle with cancer. Joan is survived by her loving family, three daughters, Patti (Jan), Laurie (Wayne) and Jill (Erik); one son, Drew (Ashley); eight grandchildren, Karin, Ryan, Rhyann, Kristen, Janine, Kurt, Lukas and Rayne; two brothers, three sisters, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Al, on September 4, 1982. A Memorial Service will be held at Robertson-Wesley United Church, 10209 - 123 Street, Edmonton on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Friends who so wish may make memorial donations directly to the Capital Health Palliative Home Care Program.
